KEVIN LOVE DONATES $500K TO UCLA RESEARCH IN ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
Good news! Cleveland Cavaliers forward, Kevin Love, has committed to donating $500,000 to create the Kevin Love Fund Centennial Chair at the psychology department at UCLA. The donation will be made through his foundation, the Kevin Love Fund, which he formed in 2018 after his own struggles with mental health. Love hopes to destigmatize the conversation surrounding mental health and fund research into better diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depression. For his work around mental health, Love was the recipient of the 2020 Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYS.
